Description

K-Series ARP Head Studs 208-4701

K20A, K20A2, K20A3, K20Z1, K20Z3, K24A2

Socket Size(s) 1/2 12pt, 3/16 Allen

When you upgrade the performance of your K20 K24 engine, many times you will exceed the capabilities of the factory hardware. ARP has the solution for you. Made out of premium grade 8740 chromoly, these studs have a strength rated far superior to OE and "aircraft" quality bolts. This material is heat treated to provide a tensile strength in the 200,000 psi range and is an excellent choice for building your high revving all motor, or forced Induction application.

Why should you use ARP over your OEM bolts?

OEM bolts are more prone to failure from tensile overload, torsional shear, Impact Shear, and will stretch and neck down prior to breakage, ARP bolts are made with a substantially stronger material than then OEM bolts, and they are re-useable.
