The NRG Quick Release Hub Adapter is a Quick Release Adapter that install between your aftermarket steering wheel and aftermarket steering wheel hub. This adapter allows you to remove your steering wheel with a pull of the release ring. It utilize a special ball bearing locking mechanism for a safe and secure
Why would one want to remove their steering wheel?
Depending on the driver's height, seating position, steering wheel size, and even the type of seats. The removal of the steering wheel might be require in some case in order for the driver to leave the vehicle. This situation is often encountered with racing seats that are not recline able.
Important Note, this is an adapter only, you will still need a vehicle specific hub.
Work on most 6 bolts pattern steering wheel such as NRG MOMO SPARCO OMP Personal, Nardi and more.
Please note that a certain model steering wheel may require a hub ring adapter in order for the horn to sit properly.
