Lightweight Flywheels combine low weight, low inertia and high thermal capacity, designed for light to moderately tuned racing cars for drag racing, autocross and rally events, as well as street usage. Made from chromoly steel. They are specifically designed to reduce weight and inertia for better engine response.  EXEDY lightweight flywheels have passed engineering tests to 15,000-18,000 RPM. They are guaranteed not to fail to the said RPM, and are all SFI approved.

For K-series Engine with 6 Speed Transmission.

If you want to use this flywheel in a K-Chassis that has a 5-speed transmission from the factory, you must a clutch kit from a 6-speed model as well. 

Clutches from K-series 5-Speed will not work on this flywheel
