A low-temperature thermostat offers several advantages for high-performance or race environments, including enhanced cooling, prevention of temperature hunting and improved durability. It allows coolant to flow freely at lower temperatures, and enables the radiator to effectively regulate the engine's temperature. HYPERCOOL thermostats are manufactured by an OEM supplier since 1954 and rigorously tested for durability, including heating/cooling cycles, vibration testing and real-world testing. The Hybrid Racing Thermostats are custom-tailored for the Honda Civic Type-R FK8 & FL5 K20C1 versions.
