Extensive research and development have gone into the creation of the Hybrid Racing Silicon Cold Air Intake Kit for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si. This expertly designed intake offers maximum performance for all setups, from stock to highly modified. Graphs displaying the intake's superiority over its competitors show a peak gain of 14hp and an average gain of 9hp compared to the stock air box. In comparison to other 3.5" cold air intakes, typical peak and average gains of 2-3hp were recorded, resulting in a smoother power delivery and improved drivability.

One prominent aspect of this cold air intake is its complete use of silicone materials. The 1/4" fiberglass-reinforced silicone tubing is strong and capable of withstanding engine vacuum, providing superior insulation for the intake charge compared to metal or plastic intakes. This results in colder intake air temperatures, resulting in a denser air charge and increased power. Additionally, the kit includes a 6" velocity stack that minimizes inlet restrictions, allowing for a greater amount of air to enter the engine and further enhancing the power of the intake charge.

Built-in Anti-hydrolock bypass!

The Hybrid Racing Silicon Cold Air Intake Kit for 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si includes an injection molded air bypass manifold that serves various functions. It allows attachment of the factory MAF and silicone tubing to the factory valve cover vent and air bypass valve. This manifold also has a built-in air bypass feature that prevents hydro-lock in heavy rain. During testing, Hybrid Racing completely submerged an air filter in water and ran the engine, which idled and rev'd without any issues. However, caution should still be taken when driving through deep water in any vehicle.

The biggest gain the bypass manifold provides is the reduction of parasitic Helmholtz resonance. The internal geometry of the air bypass manifold is designed to smooth out your power band. The end result is an intake that (on average) makes up to 14hp over the stock air box and even 2-3 more horsepower than any other 3.5" intakes.Also included with each kit is a powder coated steel battery tray that relocates the battery in front of the transmission to make room for this intake's massive piping. We also provide a silicone upper radiator hose to give better clearance than the stock radiator hose. Silicone tubing is provided to replace the OEM rubber valve cover breather and air bypass tube. This gives the engine bay a cleaner, more finished appearance. The kit includes all of the bolts, hose clamps, and hardware needed to install the intake and battery tray.

Tuning software required!

You will need a tuning software like Hondata's Flash Pro to tune the car after installation. This kit should be run using MAP tunes only and should not be used with the factory ECU calibration. Please note this system is sold as a complete kit and is not offered in pieces.
